Paul grew up in Little Rock.  He attended the Universities of Missouri and Arkansas where he earned his bachelors and masters in music.  After spending some time trying to make a living playing bassoon in New York and New Jersey, Paul moved back to Arkansas. He is now bi-vocational as an insurance salesman and an ordained United Methodist deacon at Canvas. Paul is married to Julie and has a teenager, Eli.

During his time at Memphis Theological Seminary, he had a life-altering ordinary coffee experience with people experiencing homelessness. (Ask him what on earth that means!) His dream is to see the rich and the poor know and care about each other so that God can transform all of us, as individuals and as a community.
